Accessibility

Guidecall is committed to making it possible for everyone to find, talk to, and book fishing guides — including people who rely on assistive technology. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

Measures We Take

  • Full keyboard navigation, with a skip-to-content link and visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Screen-reader support: labeled form fields and buttons, dialog semantics on modal windows, announced error messages, and descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
  • Reduced-motion support — animations and auto-scrolling effects are disabled for visitors whose device settings request reduced motion.
  • Text contrast reviewed against the WCAG 4.5:1 ratio for body and label text.
  • Accessibility checks folded into our development and review process.

Known Limitations

The interactive nautical chart on our homepage and location pages has limited screen-reader support. All of the guides and deals shown on the chart are also available through the regular search results and listing pages, which are fully navigable without it. If the chart (or anything else) gets in the way of booking, contact us and we will help you complete your booking directly.
